A Buttery Belly Balm!

P1020119
200g jar of custom made Belly Balm

So you’re with child! Congrats!

I know the Bliss Body Butter is heavenly and we all love to slather it on our body. However, during the first trimester (and 2nd too), its best to eliminate essential oils from your body care line. As I always say…….’when in doubt, keep them out’. The majority of essential oils have emmenagogue properties which stimulate the uterus and basically, bring on the baby! This, of course, is something we do not welcome at this early stage.

This balm is packed with vitamin-rich nut oils, butters galore, and infused hibiscus with aloe especially formulated to help lubricate the skin as the tummy expands during pregnancy. Scented delicately with neroli and tangerine essential oils as these oils are safe for use during pregnancy and are great for skin elasticity.
Apply regularly to help prevent stretch marks.

  1. I am currently in week 31 and have been using the belly balm since week 12. My main criteria when looking for a belly butter was a natural product without any chemicals and that has not been tested on animals. Not only does this product tick those boxes but it also makes my belly feel super soft, absorbs well and it smells really delicious! Since I started to use the balm I have gone though one small jar and I’m currently on a large jar which I think will last me throughout the remainder of my pregnancy. It’s amazing how long one jar lasts for. On top of that Cheryl is really fabulous in that she tailors the ingredients of the balm depending on which trimester you are in.
It’s a total winner of a product in my book and I strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high quality belly butter/balm.

  2. I used the belly balm through my 3rd trimester and I loved it! It smelled great and left my belly smooth and soft and I have no stretch marks. Great product and would recommend it for sure.
